The Pattern Design
This is a bag designed as a mini backpack, but it has two options as to how the final finish will look. You can make it into a sling bag which has a quick access strap from going over one shoulder for more ease and comfort or it can be be made into a normal mini backpack.

Finished bag size- 11 x 9 x 3-3/4 inches.
What items you will need to make both bag styles are as follows:-
For the sling bag style
- 1/2 metre Main outer fabric
- 1x FQ (Fat Quarter) contrast fabric
- 3/4 metre Lining fabric
- 1 Metre Medium weight iron on interfacing
- 3/4 metre of either Fusible single sided foam or single side fusible fleece
- 25 inches No5 zipper with 3 zipper pulls
- 1x 1-inch Rectangular Ring
- 1x 1- inch Quick release buckle
- 1x 1-inch Adjustable strap slider
- 74 inches Read made bias binding double folded 1 inch wide (when folded)
- 60 inches 1- inch wide strap webbing
For the Mini Backpack version
- 1/2 metre Main Outer fabric
- 1/2 metre Contrast Fabric
- 3/4 metre lining fabric
- 1-1/2 metres Medium weight iron on interfacing
- 3/4 metre of either Fusible single sided foam or single side fusible fleece.
- 25 inches No5 zipper with 3 zipper pulls
- 2x 1- inch Rectangular rings
- 2x 1-inch Adjustable strap sliders
- 74 inches Ready Made bias Binding double folded
- 55 inches 1-inch webbing
